In secondary school the kind of difficulty changes: it is no longer just about automating, but about understanding why. Solving for x, reading a graph, balancing a chemical equation or analysing a sentence are multi-step processes, and most students get lost in those steps. The games in this section teach the process, not just the answer: you see the balance level out, the line move, the forces add up.
They are grouped by the secondary school subjects and nearly all of them have two modes: the game, against the clock and with points, for practice; and the exam, with ten questions, an explanation for each one and a final grade, to check before a test whether the topic is really learnt.
