Sixth-form biology and geology

Sixth-form biology changes scale: from organs to the cell and its molecules, and nearly everything asked — heredity, evolution, how the immune system responds to a vaccine — only makes sense if you know the inside of the cell well. Geology is similar with plate tectonics, which explains volcanoes, earthquakes and landforms all at once.

Bajo el Microscopio shows the organelles as drawings and in real microscope photos; Genética trains Mendel’s crosses with the Punnett square; and Cadena Alimentaria, the trophic levels of an ecosystem. Each topic also has a study page with a summary and an explained exam, including health and the immune system, and the atmosphere and climate change.
