Rotation (day and night, 24 h) and revolution (seasons, 365 days). Confusing these two movements is the most common mistake in Primary science exams.
For Secondary, concepts such as the light year, Earth's axial tilt causing seasons, and specific planet characteristics like Venus's retrograde rotation are added.

Mnemonic for planet order: "My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nachos" (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune).
Rotation = spinning on its own axis → day and night. Revolution = orbit around the Sun → year and seasons.
Jupiter is the largest (over 1,000 Earths fit inside), Mercury is the smallest and closest to the Sun.
For Secondary: seasons are NOT caused by distance to the Sun, but by Earth's axial tilt (23.5°).
