Prokaryote vs Eukaryote

The most important distinction in cell biology: the presence or absence of a defined nucleus. Bacteria are prokaryotes; animals, plants and fungi are eukaryotes.

Animal vs Plant

    Key difference: prokaryote (bacteria) has NO nucleus. Eukaryote (animals, plants, fungi) has a nucleus with a membrane.
