Maths · Powers
From the atom to the galaxy, in powers of 10
Choose a level
Place objects on the ruler (one mark of leeway), move the point in big numbers and add or subtract exponents
The ruler goes from 10⁻¹⁰ m (an atom) to 10²¹ m (the Milky Way), each mark ten times the previous one. Pick an object, tap its place and fine-tune with ÷10 and ×10. In other rounds you move the decimal point: each step left raises the exponent by one, until one digit is left before the point.
And with the laws of powers you adjust the exponent with − and +, or type the value: 5⁰ = 1, 2⁻³ = 1/8, (−2)³ = −8.
⏱️ 90s · Correct +10 and +6s · Wrong −5s
