Prefer to learn without screens? Try this analogue version:

  1. 1

    Draw Cartesian axes on squared paper. Mark a "goal" as a vertical segment at x = 4.

  2. 2

    Write 4 functions on cards (e.g. y = x, y = 2x, y = ½x, y = −x). One player picks one without saying it.

  3. 3

    The others plot the function and decide whether the "ball" (point at x = 4) would enter the goal.

  4. 4

    The one who picks the function through the goal explains why. Points go to whoever guesses with fewest attempts.
