Visual Fractions Game with Cake Slices
A round cake cut into equal slices, against the clock. Sometimes you read which fraction is shaded; other times you tap exactly the right slices to build the fraction you are asked for — even when the cake has more slices than the denominator, so you have to spot the equivalent fraction.

Instead of manipulating numerator and denominator as abstract symbols, students see directly how much they represent — the real basis for understanding a fraction.
When the cake has double or triple the slices of the requested denominator, students discover for themselves that 2/3 and 4/6 are "the same amount of cake".
The countdown and streaks turn what would be a repetitive worksheet task into something with tension and a score to beat.
"It asks for "2/3" and the cake has 9 slices (triple 3). The student has to realise 2/3 = 6/9 and tap exactly 6 slices, not 2 — that is where the real learning of the round happens."
Prefer to learn without screens? Try this analogue version:
Draw a circle and split it into a number of slices that is a multiple of several denominators (12, for example).
Ask for a fraction (1/3, say) and have the student colour the exact slices (4 of 12).
Ask for the same amount expressed as a different equivalent fraction (2/6, 4/12…) and check they colour the same amount.
Repeat with different fractions, raising the difficulty with less common denominators (7, 8, 9…).
